How It Works

Lax101.com makes it simple for you to engage directly with NCAA Division I, II, III and College Club lacrosse coaches. Here’s how it works:

1. Step 1: Register and build your profile. Once you register, you will gain access to the powerful Player Profile, your “calling card” for lacrosse recruiting. This profile has powerful features to help you get noticed and communicate with coaches.
2. Step 2: Buy some credits. In order to communicate with coaches, you must have credits in your account. These are sold in packages of 10, 50, and 100 and cost $1 each. You need 10 credits to communicate with a school.
3. Step 3: Search for schools and coaches. Use the powerful Coach Finder to locate schools and lacrosse programs that interest you.
4. Step 4: Express interest. Once you’ve located a school that interests you, click on the Express Interest button. This will deduct 10 credits from your account and notify the coach that you’re interested. Your name and a link to your profile will appear on the coach’s “Interested Players” list.

So what happens after you’ve expressed interest? It can go one of two ways:

1. The coach is interested. If this happens, the coach will reach out directly to you via the secure messaging system. They may want more information, speak on the phone, or even schedule a visit to the campus.
2. The coach doesn’t think you are a fit. If this happens, the coach will click a “Not a Fit” button next to your name on their Interested Players list and provide a reason. Hey, you may be the most talented lacrosse player on the scene but the coach may have some very specific needs (for example, he only needs a goalie right now).
